The Yang-Institute on Employment and Disability and The Worker Institute at Cornell University are recruiting participants for a study about how the need for personal assistance and other home care services influences the employment of adults with disabilities. Participants must live or work in New York, Oklahoma, or Washington State. One in ten survey participants will receive a $50 gift card after completing the survey. Survey participants who are selected for a focus group or individual interview with be sent a $50 gift card after completing the focus group or interview. WVABLE: Employment, Benefits and Greater Independence

WVABLE will host a special webinar, “Pathway to Employment and Greater Independence with Benefits Counseling & WVABLE,” on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at noon Eastern.

During this interactive session, participants will learn how benefits counseling, Social Security work incentives and WVABLE accounts can work together. The presenters will explain how individuals with disabilities can make informed employment decisions, save for the future and continue accessing important public benefits.
