This focus group aims to get input from people with IDD and their supporters in 2 areas:

1) Ways that people with IDD are currently living independently when the support from a parent or key family member is limited or absent.

2) Barriers that you face in getting support

Feedback will go to the NY Housing Alliance for tips for people living on their own without a lot of family support and into documents to inform recommendations for policy change.
