Helpful Ideas:

Some helpful ideas include (but are not limited to) creating messages, statements, paintings, drawings and/or other creative artwork representing this year’s theme. Try asking yourself the following:

- How do you use your voice to advocate? 

- How does being a part of SANYS help you Speak Up?

- Did you know that SANYS "has a seat at the table" and speaks regularly with your elected officials in order to make all of our lives better?

-Try to express what the conference theme (Coming, Learning and Growing Together) means to you.

Submission Guidelines:

Artwork must be created by a person with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities who is a resident of New York State.

Please send logos in a .jpg format in the highest resolution possible to logo4sa@gmail.com  by May 23rd, 2025. 

Original works of art only! Color submissions only, no photography please!  (If you need help sending in your logo, please contact your local SANYS office or call 631-335-9142.

•    3 colors maximum
•    Maximum size: 12 inches x 15 inches
•    Image based on theme (above)

Make sure to include your name, phone number, email address, and a few sentences about you and how you created the logo.  (please do not put your name on the actual design) 

• No entries can be accepted after May 23rd, 2025! Late submissions will not be considered.

• A prize of $150 will be awarded to the artist whose logo is chosen  

• Artwork selected will be showcased at the statewide conference
